Even though Marco Cremona is still relatively young, he is in a wellentrenched position to show to his credit a substantial amount of activity through the voluminous amount of work which he has already produced, and which is as well evidenced by the long list of one-man exhibWons in Malta and other countries, including some highly prestigious venues such as the Council of Europe headquarters in Strasbourg in 1993, which have featured him. The career of Marco Cremona can already pride itself of just over 30 years of activity. It is quite natural that in the course of three decades his art has sho n visible proofs of evolution. With that in mind. the purpose of the present exhibition has been to h ghhg the successive phases of that artistic journey through a selection of works which collectively aim to establish the main landmarks of his entire production to date.
In 1992 Cremona started operating hils own Galleria Cremona in Rabat which was later extended to Mdina in Mesquita Square. This new exhibition space , apart from showing a cross-section of his paintings and his recent production of ceramics provides interesting architectural remains.
